Kathleen Marie Love-Taylor of Burlington City passed away Monday, May 4, 2026 at her residence at the age of 68. She was born in Philadelphia and was a long time Burlington resident. She was a graduate of Holy Cross High School and the Philadelphia College of the Arts, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She began her teaching career in early education at the YMCA in Burlington. She then moved to the Red Balloon Child Care in Delran where she continued teaching until her retirement. Kathleen loved teaching and interacting with her students. Kids were drawn to her. She always had the nieces and nephews around her at family parties. She loved to read and was great at sewing.  She made some awesome Halloween costumes.  Nicholas always had the best ones!!! She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Helen (nee Markhorst) Love. Kathleen is survived by her husband Kenneth A. Taylor, her son Nicholas Taylor, her sister JoAnn Love-Hough and her husband Scott, brother and sister in law William G. and Wendy Love, her brothers and sisters in law; Tina, Marty, Theresa (Patrick), John (Louise), Maria, and Rosalee (Bob) and many nieces and nephews as well as dear friend Theresa Taylor. A memorial service for Kathleen will be held at a later date with information posted on the funeral home website.
