Lillian A. (Wood) McPherson

Lillian A. McPherson (nee Wood) passed away Wednesday May 29, 2024 at Virtua Hospital in Mt. Holly at the age of 79. Born in Mt. Holly, Lillian was a longtime Burlington resident. She spent most of her life as a homemaker taking care of her family but did spend ten years working in the cafeteria at the Burlington Twp. High School. She enjoyed doing ceramics and was an avid fan of Elvis Presley. She was predeceased by her husband William McPherson, Sr. and her brothers Oscar Wood and John D. Wood. She is survived by her children William R. Mcpherson, Jr, and Timothy J. McPherson, her grandchildren; William, III, Scarlett and Scottie, her great grandchildren; Lily, William, IV, Salom, Morgan and Raylin. She is also survived by her sisters and brother in law; Judy and Bill Perry and Joyce Gray as well as many nieces and nephews. A viewing for Lillian will be held Saturday June 8, 2024 from 9-11am at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington, NJ. A funeral service will begin at 11am with burial following in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rt. 130 and Beverly Rd., Burlington.
