Lois Rita Romani (Nee: Loveland) of Burlington Township, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at the age of 88. Lois was born in Margate, NJ and was a longtime Burlington resident. She worked and retired from the Burlington Township Board of Education after 20 plus years of service. She never lost her love for the Jersey Shore as she and her family created many memories at the camper in Cape May at Lake Laurie. In addition to the memories at the camper, she enjoyed making arts and crafts, jigsaw puzzles and dancing and listening to the “Oldies”. She was predeceased by her loving husband Leon “Pete” and their son Jeffrey Romani and her sisters: Betty Lou, Gertrude and Dorothy. She leaves to cherish her memory sons and daughters in law: Edward (Raelynn), Anthony (Rose) Romani; grandchildren: Tracy (Dave), Eddie, Jr., Brian, Alex, Shania, Cassie; great-grandchild: Jamisyn, a sister Phyllis (Melvin) Alcott and many nieces and nephews. Lois requested to have a private funeral service. The Romani family would like to personally thank The Acacia Hospice Team for all of their dedication, care and kindness to them, at a time it was needed most.
