Lois C. Williams (nee Maus) passed away surrounded by her family in Columbus, NJ on Saturday July 29, 2023 at the age of 65. Born on Governors Island, NY, she was a longtime Burlington Twp. resident. After a decade in Jacksonville, FL, Lois spent the last 13 years in Columbus. She was a loan investigator before taking a position as an operating room technician in her early years, but found her calling as a paraprofessional helping to teach disabled children at Sabal Palm Elementary School in Jacksonville until her retirement. A devoted wife and mother who always put the needs of her family before her own, Lois loved doing arts and crafts in her spare time. Cruising around in Gary’s 1957 Heavy Chevy and going to car shows with him was one of her favorite things to do. She also enjoyed spending time at the Jersey Shore, particularly in Seaside enjoying a slice of Maruca’s Pizza. Lois was predeceased by her parents Harold and Loretta Maus, her siblings Kenneth Maus and Lorraine Cotton, her mother and father-in-law Margie and Lewis Williams and her brother-in-law Roger Williams. She is survived by her loving husband Gary, sons Michael (Christa) and Mark (Emily), grandchildren; Olivia, Jordan, Meadow and Lucas, brothers Richard Maus and Tommy (Jo-Anne) Maus, her sister and brother-in-law Donna (Mike) Levesque and brother and sister-in-law Larry (Linda) Williams, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A viewing for Lois will be held from 6-8pm Friday August 4th and from 11am-12 noon Saturday August 5th at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home Saturday beginning at noon. Interment will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery Mausoleum, Rt. 130 and Beverly Rd., Burlington Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation on line at www.themmrf.org would be appreciated by her family.
