At the time of his passing, he was employed at Orbit MVG as a field service engineer. Prior to working at Orbit, he had worked for Lockheed Martin. He was passionate about his work and especially being able to travel and see new places as part of his job. In his spare time, Luke also enjoyed working on cars, camping, and family activities. His greatest love was his family. He was a wonderful husband and father and enjoyed helping with boy scout projects, going to band events and spending time with his boys. Luke was predeceased by his father Lucas Perez and his sister Karon. He is survived by his wife Kaytee Diehl, his children Robert and Samuel, his mother Janny Perez, his sisters Judy and Sharon as well as a large, extended family. A walk-through visitation will be held on Friday, March 26, from 6-8pm at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home beginning at 8pm. Interment will be held privately. It was Luke’s wish that his boys get a good education, and so in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made at Everloved.com. Facial coverings and social distancing will be required for this event.
