Lula Michelle Wilson

Lula Michelle Wilson of Riverside, passed away Wednesday May 31, 2023 at her residence at the age of 62. She was born in Alabama, but grew up mostly in Trenton, NJ along with her three brothers and three sisters raised by her mother Roberta Wilson and John Gordon. As a young woman she met the father of her three children, Aubrey Smith while living in Trenton. She was always a very hard worker and her jobs would vary from corrections officer, fast food, tax preparer and secretary. She would move back and forth between Burlington Township and Trenton until she settled and found a home in the small town of Riverside, NJ where she would live and work as a secretary for H&R Block. In her spare time she enjoyed being outside and working in her yard. She also enjoyed telling jokes and making people laugh. However her favorite activity by far was spending time with her grandchildren. Lula was predeceased by her son, Tyrone Smith, her father John Gordon, her sister Barbara Wilson, her brothers Gregory Wilson, Benjamin Wilson and Obie Wilson and her niece Sheron Wilson. She is survived by her sons Marcus Smith and Michael Smith, her grandchildren Mason Smith, Myles Smith and Malia Smith, her sisters Gail Davis and Fredericka Wilson. She is also survived by her sister in law Precyous Wilson and nieces LaShawnna Wilson, Shardell Wilson, Morgan Davis and Roberta Davis. A viewing for Lula will be held Friday June 9th from 10-11am at the 1st Baptist Church of Riverside, 91, Whittaker Street, Riverside. Funeral services will begin at the church at 11am. Interment will be held privately.
