Manuela (Bedoya) Arroyo

Manuela (Bedoya) Arroyo of Cape Coral, FL passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. She was 81 years old. Manuela was the beloved wife of Gilberto Arroyo Sr. (married October 17, 1964); the loving mother of Gilbert Arroyo Jr., Bithiah Brown, Monica Rivera (Israel), Jorge Arroyo (Lisa), Wilson Arroyo (Vineet), Steven Arroyo, Tracy Beach (Robert). Manuela is also survived by many adoring grandchildren Stephanie, Jennifer, Jessica, Julian, Steven Antonio, Aaron, Cristina, Daniel, Olivia, Samantha, Jace, Landon, Vanessa and Alex and great grandchildren Maniyah, Samir, Tre, Nasiem and Kamden who will miss her dearly. In addition to her family, Manuela leaves behind many students and faculty that she impassioned with her culture and the love of speaking Spanish. She taught Spanish at Life Center Academy in Burlington, NJ for more than 35 years. She and her husband retired and relocated to Cape Coral, FL in September 2018. A viewing will be held at the Fountain of Life Center, 2035 Columbus Road, Burlington, (Florence) NJ on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 5-7pm. A memorial service will begin at 7:00pm. An additional viewing will be held Saturday, July 22nd from 9-10am. The Arroyo family will be there to welcome friends and family. Interment will be held privately.
