Margaret M. Harding (nee Miller) passed away Wednesday January 3, 2024 at Samaritan Hospice and Healthcare in Mt. Holly at the age of 98. Born in Riverside, Margaret was a longtime Burlington resident. In her early years she was a caretaker, but as children came along she became a homemaker to care for her family. She was a life member of the Beverly Road Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and the Burlington VFW Post 1817. She enjoyed gardening, playing Bingo and going to the casinos in Atlantic City. However she most enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She was predeceased by her husband Marshall and her grandchildren Chester Walters, III and Charles Frederick Kiffer, Jr. Margaret is survived by her daughters Marsha Walters (Jon Duckett) and Carol Ann Ostberg (Eric), her grandchildren; David Kiffer, Richard Kiffer, John Ostberg Karen Ostberg, Eric Ostberg and Marshall Ostberg. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members. A visitation for Margaret will be held Thursday January 11th from 11am-1pm at the Page Funeral Home, 302 East Union St., Burlington. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 1pm. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rt. 130 and Beverly Rd., Burlington.
