Margaret E. (“Peggy”) Patterson (nee Bramall) passed away Thursday January 18, 2024, at her residence in Beverly. Born in Beverly, Peggy was a longtime Beverly resident. Family and faith were extremely important to Peggy. She treasured spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren. Memorial Day cookouts and holiday get togethers were traditions she held dear to her heart. Her children were truly amazed at her ability to locate a church and attend mass no matter where she traveled. She worked in banking for many years and liked helping her customers. She liked everyone she met and as a “professional” worrier, she was always concerned about and the health and well-being of her family, friends’, and friends of friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Lewis and Violet (nee Ashton) Bramall, her husband Ray Patterson, her siblings Dot Dias, William Ashton and her daughter-in-law (“DIL”) Robin Patterson. She is survived by her children; Jerry (Colleen) Patterson, Ellen (Russ) Ehrlich and Steven Patterson, her grandchildren; Matthew Patterson, Kelsey and Jacob Ehrlich, her sister Edna Morrissey, as well as her beloved nieces, and nephews, dear friends and her dearly loved cat, Misty. A visitation for Peggy will be held Saturday January 27th from 9:30-10:45am in St. Paul RC Church, 223 E. Union St., Burlington. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated beginning at 11am.
