Marie E. (Darling) Darling-Myers

Marie E. Darling-Myers of Edgewater Park passed away Thursday July 17, 2025 at the Samaritan Center in Mt. Holly at the age of 64. Marie was born in Frankfurt, Germany as her father served in the U.S. Army and she travelled to many countries as a child. She settled down in New Jersey and was a longtime resident of Edgewater Park. She was employed as a Human Services Supervisor by Somerset County Board of Social Services. In her spare time she enjoyed scrapbooking and was an avid Disney fan. She loved to take trips to Disney World and traveled to her “happy place” as often as she could. Her children were her pride and joy, but her light and unwavering kindness shined on everyone. Marie was predeceased by her father, Gerald M. Darling, her brother David M. Darling and her grandmother Lydia Schauer. She is survived by her children; Ashley N. Myers and James C. Myers, her mother Marian (nee Schauer) Darling, sister Jeanne L. Gallagher, goddaughter and niece Erin Gallagher, as well as many other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held privately.
