Marie R. (Hertsch) Nelson

Marie R. Nelson of Burlington Twp., passed away at her residence Monday June 19, 2023 at the age of 81. Marie was born in Philadelphia and raised in Runnemede, NJ. She was a longtime resident of Burlington Twp. She had worked for Strawbridge and Clothier and later Macy’s in Burlington Twp. until her retirement. She was a parishioner of Corpus Christi R.C. Church in Willingboro and a 25 year active member of the Women’s Club of Edgewater Park. In her spare time, Marie loved to travel and make flower arrangements. She was predeceased by her parents, Harry L. and Marie M. (nee Pike) Hertsch, Sr. She is survived by her husband Robert, with whom she recently celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary. She is also survived by her brother and sister in law Harry and Nancy Hertsch, her sister in law and brother in law; Bonnie and Frank Huminski and her cousin Pat Cakrane. A viewing for Marie will be held from 6-8pm Thursday June 22 at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30am Friday June 23rd at Corpus Christi R.C. Church, 11 S. Sunset Rd., Willingboro, NJ.
