Mary Louise (Valvardi) Fitzpatrick

Mary Louise Fitzpatrick (Valvardi) was born September 1, 1933. She peacefully passed away at Samaritan Hospice in Voorhees, NJ on 2/28/24. She is predeceased by her husband, Francis Robert (Bob) Fitzpatrick. She was mother to Colleen and Shawn Fitzpatrick (Pamela). She was grandmother to Keegan, Callahan and Quinlan Fitzpatrick.

Mary was born in Camden, NJ. Mary grew up in Philadelphia, PA and was a graduate of Immaculate Conception Academy in 1951. She graduated from Immaculata University in 1955. Mary was a teacher for several years in Haddon Heights. She married Bob in 1967, and they settled in Burlington, NJ to raise their family. She enjoyed many summers in Wildwood Crest, NJ with her family and friends.

Mary was a devout Catholic, attending St. Paul's in Burlington, NJ, for many years.

Mary is survived by her brother, Andrew Valvardi. She is predeceased by her brother Phil Valvardi (Helen), Jack Valvardi (Marie), as well as her sister in laws Rosalie Valvardi and Margaret Fastow (Robert).

Mary is also survived by many nieces and nephews, who adored her and have fond memories of enjoying several celebrations with her.

In lieu of flowers, we request donations be made to Samaritan Hospice, Brandywine Care at Moorestown Estates, or St. Mary’s Center for Rehabilitation.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 8th at 11:00am at St. Katherine Drexel Church (formerly St. Paul's) at 223 East Union Street, Burlington, NJ. A burial of her ashes will follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery East Broad Street in Burlington, NJ.
