Mary Marinella

Mary Marinella, passed away Sunday April 4, 2021 at Virtua Hospital Willingboro at the age of 82.  Born in Mt. Holly, Mary was a longtime Burlington City resident.  She was a crossing guard for the City of Burlington for many years, a job she loved because of her love of children.  She was also a longtime member of the Endeavor Fire. Co. Ladies Auxiliary in Burlington City.  Faith was important to Mary and she was a devoted parishioner and former usher at St. Paul R.C. Church in Burlington.  In her spare time, Mary enjoyed going to the shore, particularly Long Beach Island.  She enjoyed all things about the beach including lighthouses, collecting seashells and spending time on her boat with her late husband, Anthony.  She also enjoyed telling jokes and always had one for her family and many friends.  Mary was predeceased by her husband Anthony “Tony” Marinella, her son Joseph Marinella, grandson Anthony Marinella, IV and her siblings Jackie, Eddie and Catherine.  She is survived by her sons and daughters in law; Anthony and Theresa Marinella and Daniel and Margaret Marinella, her grandchildren; Mary, Joseph, Danielle, Jenny and Matthew Marinella and her great grandchildren; Kaylee, Zachary, Elijah, Kayleen and Ava.  A walk through viewing for Mary will be held Monday April 12th from 11am – 1pm at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington, NJ 08016.  Funeral services will be held graveside at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 500 Marne Highway Hainesport, NJ 08036 at 2pm.  Facial coverings and social distancing will be required for all events.
