Mary Patricia Stafford

Mary Patricia Stafford died on December 29, 2021 in Ponte Vedra, Florida. Mary was born to her beloved parents, the late Joseph and Grace Stafford, on March 29, 1940 in Mount Holly, New Jersey. She attended St. Paul’s Elementary school and Burlington City High School in Burlington, N.J.. She worked many years in the City of Burlington Clerks Office. She transferred to the City of Burlington Police Office from where she eventually retired. She is survived by sister Kay Gross (Andrew), brother Joseph A. Stafford (Barbara). Lovingly called aunt “MeMe” by nephews Andrew Gross (Maureen), Joseph Gross (Helen), Patrick Gross (Lisa), Daniel Gross (Angelica) and nieces Mary Kathryn Rogers (Tom) and Theresa Garber (Cecil) and many great nieces and nephews. Words of gratitude to Barbara Stahl and Terri Osborne MacIntosh for the love and presence shown Mary over the Years. The family thanks staff and caregivers of Starling at Nocatee, Florida for the care they gave Mary. A Celebration of Life mass will be offered at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 22,2022 in Saint Paul’s Church, Saint Katharine Drexel Parish, 223 E. Union St., Burlington. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery,.Jacksonville Road, Burlington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America or to St. John Paul II Catholic Church Capital Campaign in Nocatee, Florida.  Messages of sympathy may be sent to the family through www.pagefuneralhome.com  For the safety of all attending, facial coverings are required.
