Mary R Venito

Mary R. Venito of Burlington, NJ passed away Tuesday June 7, 2022 at Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice in Mt. Holly at the age of 99.  She was born in Burlington March 2, 1923 to the late Jennie and Frank Schroppas and she remained a lifelong resident.  Mary worked at Kaiser during World War II riveting airplane wings. Later she worked as a lunch lady for the Samuel Smith School in Burlington.  She was a faithful parishioner of St. Paul’s R.C. Church in Burlington and was a lifetime member of the Burlington Township Senior Citizen’s Club.  In her younger years, Mary enjoyed crabbing and fishing at the Jersey Shore with her nieces and nephews.  She is survived by her beloved children; Judith A. (Leonard) Smith, Elaine (Thomas) Rodzon and James (Carol) Venito, Jr., her grandchildren; Gina and Kevin Rodzon, Jay and Gabriel Venito.  A viewing for Mary will be held from 10-11am, Monday June 13th at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington.  A funeral service will begin at 11am at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rt. 130 Burlington.  Messages of sympathy may be sent to her family through www.pagefuneralhome.com.
