Michael Carnivale, III of Delran and formerly of Burlington City passed away Wednesday July 6, 2022 at Virtua Lourdes Hospital in Camden at the age of 51. Born in Willingboro, Michael grew up in Burlington before moving to Delran. He was a graduate of Drexel University in Philadelphia and the University of Rhode Island, earning his Master’s degree in engineering. During his time at Drexel he was the engineer in charge of the concrete canoe; a boat made of concrete that had to float and compete against other vessels. At the time of his passing he was employed as a civil engineer for Collier’s Engineering and Design. Michael was a past Worshipful Master for the Riverside-Beverly Lodge 107 F&AM. He was very active in youth athletics in Delran, coaching tee ball, basketball and flag football for many years. He was a tremendous fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and also enjoyed watching the WWE and Star Wars. Michael was predeceased by his mother Kathleen Carnivale and his father in law John Garecht. He is survived by his wife Michelle, son Michael Aaron Carnivale, IV, father Michael Carnivale, Jr., sisters Stacy (Dario) Giannetti and Jolene (Chuck) Bauzenberger. Michael is also survived by his mother in law Peg (John) Gouran and his sisters and brothers in law; Pam McKinley, Doreen (Mike) Spies, John (Darlene) Garecht, Kim Allen, Eric (Mary) Garecht and Heather Stab. He is also survived by his nephews (Dominic, Dante, Gavin, James, Dillon, Dalton, Jesse, Austin, Colton, Emerson, Anthony, Matthew, John, Gregory & Levi), nieces (Peyton & Kennedy), and beloved pets Ollie and Molly. A visitation for Michael will be held from 9-11am Monday July 11th at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. A life celebration and sharing of reflections and memories will begin at the funeral home at 11am followed by a Masonic Service. At Michael’s request, guests should wear Philadelphia Eagles or BBQ attire. Interment will be held privately. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.pagefuneralhome.com.
