Michael Polito

Michael Polito, 92, of Burlington died April 24 in Hospice care.  He was born the son of Leonardo and Mamie Polito on the property where he was a lifelong resident. For many years he split his time between Burlington and his beloved California.

Mike is survived by eight nieces and nephews and many extended family and cherished friends. He is predeceased by all of his siblings, as well as a niece and several nephews.

The owner and operator of Pollito Auto Parts, he was well known for his customized vehicles that appeared in several national auto magazines. Over the years he was known for his generosity to many people and civic groups in the area.

A viewing will be held on Monday, May 5 from 10 to 11 AM at the Page Funeral Home, 302 East Union Street, Burlington, with a graveside service to follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Jacksonville Rd., Burlington.
