Michael J. Tisone of Burlington, passed away at Virtua Hospital in Mt. Holly on Monday at the age of 77. Michael was born in Philadelphia, raised in Bristol and moved to Burlington. He served his country Honorably during the Vietnam War. Michael served his county as Navy Corpsman. During his time of service, he served with both the Navy and Marine Corps. During the Tet Offensive he was wounded in combat. He continued to serve in the Naval Reserve until 1973. He belonged to the MFCA Model Club and in his spare time enjoyed history, medical series, gardening, and furniture repair, He finished his working career at Lourdes Hospital in Willingboro as a Medical Technician. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Marie (Nee: Sorrentino)
And their children: Anna Marie (Charles), Louis (Pamela), Anthony (Colleen).
A walkthrough visitation will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington from 9-10am. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am in St. Paul’s RC Church with burial to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Facial coverings and social distancing will be required for all events.
