Michael J Yuffrida

Michael J. Yuffrida of Edgewater Park, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at the age of 91. Born in Bristol, PA to Dominic and Catherine Yuffrida (Nee: Gillespie). He attended St. Mark’s School and as a teen, he began his working career. He worked shining shoes at his father’s Cobbler Shop and was also a delivery driver for Lanza’s Bakery.  Mike retired from US Steel after 35 years . As a retiree, he became Holy Cross Prep’s # 1 Sports Bus Driver, known as Mr. Mike. He loved raising beagles, sulky horse racing, Ballroom dancing, pulling practical jokes, loved the Eagles and Holy Cross Prep football

Michael was predeceased by his wife of 44 years Elizabeth Yuffrida and his wife of 14 years Terri and a sister Gloria Yuffrida Graunke and Son In Law Teddy Tumach. He leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories for  his children: Dorothy Tumach (Teddy Tumach),  Liz Stephenson,
Gloria Yuffrida (Brian Sena), Michelle (Robert) Beretski, Renee (Patrick) Ayrer, Jacqueline (Robert, II) Bundens, grandchildren: T.J. Tumach, Michael Neuman, Jimmy (Michelle) Ayrer, Danielle Ayrer (Rob Collins), Stephen Brown, Jake Woolston, Carly Woolston, Robert Bundens III, Deanna Bundens, Dominic Bundens; 7 Great-Grandchildren; his siblings: Norma Yuffrida, Clare Durning and many nieces and nephews. Michael’s wishes were for a private service to be held in the spring of 2026. Donations may be made in his memory to Holy Cross Preparatory Football, 5035 US-130, Delran, NJ 08075.
