Michelle Karteron Brown Nash

Michelle Karteron Brown Nash of Browns Mills passed away peacefully at home on May 11, 2022 after a three year battle with ovarian cancer. Michelle was born on November 9, 1967 in Salinas, California. She was 54 years old. She served her country proudly in the United States Army in Fort Lee, Virginia.  She served proudly in Desert Storm. Michelle grew up in Burlington City where she attended Burlington City High School. Upon graduation, she studied Accounting and Business Administration at the University of Virginia. Michelle worked for CVS, Burlington Coat Factory and IKEA warehouse. Michelle was predeceased by her parents Benjamin and Annalise and her beloved niece, Chelsea Joi. She is survived by her loving wife Melanie, her children Artia, Tessa, Calvin, and Julisa and her grandchildren Isabella, Anamarie, Jayden, Marlee and Sevn, and her great grandchild Thomas Noah. She was the beloved sister of Charles, Bianca, and Christopher. Michelle leaves her best friend Valerie Van Dunk and special friend Mrs. Hilda M. Johnson. Michelle cherished her pets: Skittles, Sunny, Chase, Oreo, Reeses, Snickers, Sally, and Khloe.  Her love for Christmas was Huge! She decorated her home from top to bottom.  It was never too early and never too late! Her yard always blossomed with colorful flags and flowers. Michelle loved her Sixers and her Green Bay Packers.  She had the best sense of humor, enjoyed days at the shore, gardening in her yard, and cooking for family and friends. Michelle loved her family- everyone of them.  She gave Mel her heart, and broke it when she passed. A viewing for Michelle will be held Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 7-9pm at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Monday May 16th in St. Paul R.C. Church, 223 E. Union St., Burlington.
