Monica L. Bonanno, formerly of Edgewater Park, passed away in California, where she has resided for the past 6 years at the age of 41. Monica was a graduate of Burlington City High School, class of 1999. She attended Mount St. Mary’s, then Rowan University, before earning her Associates Degree from Mercer Community College with some help and guidance from Melinda Neff. She worked as a Social Director for Riverview Estates and for Senior One as a Home Health Care Aide in California. Monica was a very creative person, who enjoyed painting, going to concerts and she loved the beach, especially, LBI.
Daughter of the late Louisa Robertson Bonanno, she is survived by her father Richard Bonanno, her siblings: Richard (Diane) and Michael (Rachael) Bonanno; her nieces: Lexi, Maci and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family invites friends to her visitation and funeral service at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington on Saturday, December 3, 2022. The visitation will be from 12-1pm with a service to begin at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Alex’s Lemonade Foundation, 111 Presidential Blvd, St. 203., Bala-Cynwyd, PA 19004 or to Disabled American Veterans, 446 S. Egg Harbor Road, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
