Nancy A (James) Fox

Nancy Fox, 86, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025 in her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Mt. Holly, she was a longtime Burlington City resident before moving to Burlington Township where she lived at the time of her passing. She worked for several local companies throughout her working career. AFG Glass in Cinnaminson and K-Mart Distribution Center in Morrisville were two of her long-term places of employment. Upon retirement from K-Mart she became a school bus aide with the Burlington City School District. “Miss Nancy” as she was called by the kids on the bus, loved all of them and talked fondly of them frequently.

One could often find Nancy tending to her yard and flower beds. Attending Stamping Up classes and making homemade cards for every occasion was another passion of hers. Family and friends always looked forward to being on the receiving end of one of her beautiful creations.

Sand, Sun and Surf occupied a good amount of her recreational time. Myrtle Beach, LBI and boating along the Delaware River were some of her best times.

Her Strong work ethic, joyous personality and dedicating her life to her loved ones will be thoughts that stay with us Forever. Most of l, her saying “I Love You to the Moon and Back.

Nancy was predeceased by her parents: Frances and Clarence James, former husband John, a sister Carol Harbeson and son in law Bill Simpson and her beloved fur-baby Duke. She leaves to cherish her memory her children: John (Lynn), Sue, Donna, Debbie (Charlie) as well as her grandchildren: Andrew, Taylor, Nichole and Lauren.

Nancy’s Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington from 11-12:30pm. A service will begin at 12:30 with burial to follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington.
