Nancy Symons (nee Singer), age 94 passed away August 21, 2025 with her loving family by her side. Nancy was born and raised in Burlington on January 3, 1931 to Helen and Henry Singer. She attended the Boudinot Elementary School and graduated from Burlington City High School, class of 1948. Nancy worked as a waitress, volunteered for Willing workers and Johnstone Training School in the 1960’s and early 70’s. Nancy was an avid and passionate Phillies fan and reader. She loved to cook and at 94 her food never changed and was always delicious. She loved to crochet, and do word search and crossword puzzles. Nancy is survived by her daughter and caretaker Cynthia Chase, daughter Lynn (Tony) Comegno, sons Keith Chase and Keith (Jackie) Symons, sister in law Bonnie Singer, brother in law and sister in law Danny and Jenny Symons, Wayne Rue, her cousins; Dolores Arnao, Alice Cliver, Stephanie Emmons and Anthony Biancosino. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Nicole and Rocco Picciolo, Bob VanPelt, Allisun Applegate, Helen (Phil) Unger, Sara (Derek) Gogel, Ashley (Derek) Carpenter and Lacey (Mike) Murphy, her great grandson Dylan Anderson and great-great grandson Isaiah Anderson as well as her nieces and nephews Henry (Charlene) Singer, Denny Symons, Jr., Candace (Rick) Hoffman and Crystal Symons. Nancy was predeceased by her parents Helen and Henry Singer, husband Linwood Symons, daughter and husband Nancy and Richard Anderson, daughter Aileen Applegate, brother Henry Singer, grandsons Ricky Anderson and Henry VanPelt, daughter in law Liz Chase and her great-great granddaughter Brittany Lynn Anderson. Thank you to the Care One at Hamilton staff who gave our mother the dignity and respect she deserved for the short time she was there in their care. We also want to thank Ennoble Care Hospice for the short time our mother needed their care. A memorial service will be held 11am Saturday September 6th in Odd Fellows Cemetery, 4527 US Rt. 130 Burlington, NJ 08016. Arrangements are under the direction of the Page Funeral Home, Burlington.
