Patricia M. Garrett Esq.
Patricia M. Garrett, known to all as Patty, passed away on March 24, 2025, after a brief illness. Born on March 10, 1962, to Major Kenneth E. and Joan Garrett, Patty’s life was one of dedication, compassion, and deep love for her family and community.
Patty was a proud graduate of Villanova University, and she went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Delaware Law School. She spent seventeen years serving the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office before opening her own private law practice, where she continued to make a meaningful impact on her clients and her community.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Patty was an active member of the Rotary Club of West Jersey and Rotary International. Her generosity and commitment to service were central to her life, and she cherished the friendships she made through her Rotary involvement.
A lifelong fan of Philadelphia sports, Patty loved cheering for her teams, and she and her husband, Anthony, made many memories traveling abroad together. One of the greatest joys in her life was being a grandmother. Patty’s grandchildren brought immense happiness to her, and she relished every moment spent with them. She also enjoyed the companionship of her beloved dogs, Abby, Ada, Bella, and Lulu, who brought her comfort and love.
Patty was predeceased by her parents, Kenneth and Joan, and her brother, Kenny. She is survived by her husband, Anthony Niola, of Burlington; her sister, Debbie Shiffiano, of Willingboro; her brother, Richard Garrett, of Burlington; her nieces, Emily, Allison, and Amanda; her nephew, Daniel; and her beloved stepdaughters, Melissa and Brian Barth, Toni and James Midgett, and Jenelle Niola. She was especially cherished by her grandchildren: Jackson, Hunter, and Sadie Midgett; Thomas, Madison, and McKenzie Ray; Bodhi Perrotte; and Nicklaus and Avery Barth.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Patty’s name to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation at https://t2t.org/.
Patty’s love, kindness, and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. Page Funeral Home of Burlington was in charge of arrangements.
