As a young boy he worked along with his siblings on Kings Farm in Morrisville, PA. His passion for farming continued in his own backyard each summer with a large garden including fig trees. He completed carpentry school; but, his career changed in order to better support his growing family to a truck driver for Penn Fruit Grocery Stores. He won many trophies and gifts during their annual truck rodeos for safety and skill in driving tractor trailers. He was a proud member of the Teamsters Union and served as Treasurer for his Local. He enjoyed his membership in the Amici Italian Club and was an avid Bocce player. He loved meeting with his dear friends daily for coffee and good conversation. He loved history and shopping for antiques. He will be fondly remembered for his wisdom, his love and guidance.
