Philip F. Traynor of Burlington City passed away, Friday February 21, 2025 at Virtua Hospital, Mt. Holly at the age of 69. Born in Philadelphia April 21, 1955 to the late Philip and Margaret Traynor, he was a graduate of the College of New Jersey with a major in Art. He became accomplished in drawing, painting, sculpting, pottery and photography. During that time he enjoyed a study program in Denmark and traveled throughout Europe. He continued his studies in graphic design which became his passion. He also took business classes and seminars to continue his educational pursuits. Philip had successful careers at the Café Gallery, Mother’s Kitchen, Rich’s Foodservice, and PTR Baler and Compactor Co. Always curious and interested in learning more, Philip enjoyed photography, astronomy, cooking, mathematics, his garden of plants and vegetables, staying physically fit, golf and surfing. He spent many nights at his telescope following the stars. He made a trip to experience the eclipse in Pennsylvania, which he loved. Philip traveled to Costa Rica searching for some fantastic waves. He liked a good conversation, especially if it were about politics, science or art. In addition to his parents, Philip was predeceased by his uncle James Fisher, aunt Nancy Fisher and uncle Edward Fisher. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Robert and Jolyn Traynor of Glassboro, NJ, sister Melissa Mis of Vero Beach, FL, aunt Pat Loiacono of Atlantic City, very dear friend and aunt Barbara Fisher of Burlington City, nephew Robert Traynor, Jr., niece Sarah Traynor, nephew David Paster and his cousins. Philip leaves behind memories of great laughs, lots of political discussion, and unforgettable moments with family and friends. His memory will live on in the stories we tell and the love we continue to share with one another. On a clear night if you look up in the sky you may see an especially bright star. Perhaps that will be Philip. Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements are under the direction of the Page Funeral Home, Burlington where messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.pagefuneralhome.com.
