Richard W. Walsh of Burlington City passed away Sunday February 4, 2024 at Virtua Hospital in Willingboro at the age of 91. Born in Far Hills, NJ Richard was a longtime Burlington resident. He served his country honorably during the Korean War as a member of the Air Force from 1951-1955. After his military service he began working as a television antenna installer, then moved on to TV repair. His career then transitioned to teaching; he taught TV and small appliance repair for Sears and Roebuck in Pennsauken. In his younger days he was a photographer, teaching his children the art of taking and then developing their own pictures. He also belonged to a camera club with his grandfather in the 1960’s. Richard was also a collector, he had a vast collection of records and movie stills. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Mary (Pickle) Walsh. He is survived by his wife Antonia (Casagrande) Walsh, his sons; Bruce, Leonard and Thomas, his grandchildren; Geraldine Huajan and Chiara Walsh and his brother Robert Walsh. Services will be held privately.
