Rita E. Ayrer

Rita E Ayrer, 68 years old, of Smithville, New Jersey (formerly of Burlington) peacefully passed away at Atlantic City Medical Center mainland 10/10/2025.

Rita was a graduate of Holy Cross high school, class of 1974, and was in the national honor Society and the glee club. She was a model and worked at Dunkin’ Donuts at that time. Rita attended Burlington County College and Pierce junior college (magna cum laude) in Philadelphia. She was a paralegal; and, after she moved to the shore which she loved so dearly, she went on to work at the casinos for Playboy (where she was a bunny) and Trump Plaza. She loved to ride her horses, and you could not keep her off the beach.

Her beautiful smile, loving, and generous personality, pranks, and shenanigans will be missed by the many people who loved her.

Rita is predeceased by her parents, James C. Ayrer Sr. and Helen Theresa (Tresansky) Ayrer, maternal grandmother Emma Tresansky, brother, James C. Ayrer Jr. Burlington, and brother, Joseph C. Ayrer (Karen)of Browns Mills

She is survived by her siblings Christine Becker of Burlington, Patrick (Renee) of Edgewater Park, Emma Dale of Hawley PA, Mariane (Boo)(David) Lyczak  of Burlington, Ilona (Lani) Abele of Delanco, Timothy Ayrer (Kristen) of Newtown, PA, and Martha  Ayrer– Bennett of Edgewater Park, her companion Michael Capasso and many nephews and nieces.

Mass will be held at All Saints Church at 11 A.M., Monday, October 20, 2025.. Final goodbyes will be in the church prior to the church service from 10-10:55 A.M.. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Burlington.
