Robert H. Bloomer, Sr.

Robert H. Bloomer, Sr., age 86, of Edgewater Florida, formerly of Edgewater Park, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025. Born on November 2, 1938, in Allentown, New Jersey, Robert dedicated his life to his family, his work, and his community. He married the love of his life, Laura V. Ireland Bloomer, on July 29, 1961 and together they built a beautiful family and a lifetime of memories.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife Laura and their daughters: Lois Kappeler, Laura Bloomer and Margaret Bloomer. He was a proud grandfather to Kyle Kappeler, Daniel Bloomer and Jennifer Kappeler, who brought him endless pride and joy.

He was predeceased by his parents, Dennis and Florence Bloomer, his brother Dennis Bloomer and his beloved son, Robert H. Bloomer, Jr.

Robert’s life was marked by kindness, dedication and a deep love for his family. He will be remembered for his warm heart, strong spirit and the countless way he made life better for those around him.

Family and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral service on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington from 10-11am. A service will begin at 11 with burial to follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.  

He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved him.
