Robert Leuallen Obituary

Robert N. Leuallen passed away on January 22, 2023 at the age of 86. Bob was born in Beverly, New Jersey and graduated from Burlington City High School. He served in the United States Coast Guard and had a long career with Bell Telephone. Upon retirement Bob and his wife Maureen moved to Locust Grove, Virginia. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, sailing and wood carving. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Elizabeth Leuallen, his wife Maureen (Nolan), his sisters Claire Leuallen, Betty Atzert, Shirley Atzert and Dotty Porter, and his brothers Charles “Squid” Leuallen and William Leuallen. He is survived by his daughters Debbie (Ronald) Doolittle, Robin (Alan) Buser, Christine (Shane) Johnson and Cynthia (Richard) Manders, his sister Diane Czepiel, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and everyone who knew him. A viewing for Bob will be held Friday, February 3, 2023 from 9:45-10:45am in St. Paul R.C. Church, 223 E. Union St., Burlington, NJ 08016. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated beginning at 11am. Entombment in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Jacksonville Rd., Burlington will follow mass.
