Our parents, Bobbie and Jim were high school sweethearts who married just out of high school. They spent a lifetime ensuring their family was well taken care of. Along the way we enjoyed so many special moments and she has left us with countless memories. She was unique is so many ways. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her greatest joy in life!! Our parents life included so many friends that became like family. They had high school friends, card club friends and neighborhood friends that they have remained close with over the years.
Our Mom chose the career early on to be a stay at home Mom and we were so fortunate that she was here for us always! After her most important job as being a stay at home Mom, she went on to work for Burlington County Special Services School as a teachers aid which she loved. During her working years at the school, she took the opportunity to put herself through college and she was able to graduate from Burlington County College with her associates degree. She retired after 22 years at BCSSSD and devoted the rest of her life to caring for her devoted husband Jim.
Bobbie was a very talented seamstress. Over the years she would go on to make a lot of our clothing, for both holiday’s and special occasions. She was also a very talented baker and she enjoyed making cakes for others for special occasions. In addition to being a wonderful seamstress and baker, her artistic talent for acrylic painting brought joy to her as it was self-taught. She proudly displayed them in their home. We each have pieces we will treasure for a lifetime. She would go on to spend countless hours in her yard gardening and making it picture perfect.
She enjoyed going on adventures with our Dad Jim to the antique shops, casinos, and Long Beach Island. She will be missed dearly!
