Ronald J. "Ron" Boomer" Broadbent of Burlington passed away suddenly at his residence at the age of 82. Ron was a life-long Burlington resident who served his country honorably in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He then went on to a successful career with PSE&G and retired as a supervisor. Boomer was very active with the Roma Italian-American Club and the Oneida Boat Clubs of Burlington, volunteering as a bartender and on different chairs over his years with those organizations. He was an avid golfer and was a former member of Burlington Country Club and Rancocas Golf Clubs.
A funeral service will be held at Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown/North Hanover, NJ 08562 609-738-2400 on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 2:30 P.M. The funeral will meet at the cemetery staging area where the restrooms are located in the front of the cemetery. Cemetery personal will lead from there to the Committal Shelter for his service.
