Rose V. Pallante (nee Mroczkowski) of Winter Haven, FL and formerly of Burlington passed away Friday April 14, 2023 in Winter Haven Hospital at the age of 92. Born in Burlington, Rose was a lifelong resident until moving to Winter Haven several years ago. She had worked as a sales associate for area clothing stores but as her family grew she spent her time caring for and raising her children. She was a parishioner of All Saints R.C. Church in Burlington and a member of the Altar-Rosary Society. In her spare time Rose enjoyed gardening, baking and cooking. She most enjoyed spending time with and caring for her family. She was predeceased by her husband, James Pallante, her parents Walter and Mary (nee Taholski) Mroczkowski as well as her three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her children and their spouses; Roseann Cook (Julio Lazaro), Cindy (Larry) Simmons, Jim (Cheryl) Pallante, Arlene (Stanley) Podraza, and Lisa (Craig) Ruggeri, her grandchildren; Melissa, Greg, Shawn, Scott, Matthew, Alicia, Ashley, Michael, Anthony, Nick, Chris, Gianna, Nicole, Craig and Rob as well as many great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. Services will be held privately. Arrangements are under the direction of the Page Funeral Home, Burlington.
