Rosemary (Iannucci) Thomas

Rosemary Thomas (nee Iannucci) passed away Sunday July 28, 2024 at Virtua Hospital in Willingboro at the age of 76. Rosemary was born in Bristol, PA and was a longtime Burlington resident. She held several jobs, during her working career but she worked last as a clerk in the housing department of the Burlington County Board of Social Services. In her spare time, Rosemary was an avid reader and genealogist. She also had an avid interest in military history, particularly the Civil War. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Frances (nee DeVito) Iannucci, her mother in law and father in law Fred and Helen Thomas, and her beloved dog Muffin, with whom she had a special bond. Rosemary is survived by her husband of 50 years Rick Thomas, her siblings; Thomas (Laurie) Iannucci, Joseph (Carol) Iannucci, Terri (John) Roach, Debra (George) Sowney, and Kimberly (Robert) Ekelburg. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, all of whom she was extremely proud of; Dr. Sarah Iannucci (Chris), Sean Sowney (Lauren), Robert Ekelburg (Samantha), Joseph Iannucci, Amanda Ekelburg, Kelly Flores (Jesse) and Ryan Ekelburg. A visitation for Rosemary will be held from 10-11am Tuesday, August 6th at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. A memorial service will begin at the funeral home at 11am. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to the Burlington County Animal Shelter, 35 Academy Dr., Westampton, NJ 08060 would be appreciated by her family.
