Roswitha R. (Doelle) Hicks

Roswitha R. Hicks (nee Doelle) passed away Friday December 26, 2025 at Cooper Hospital in Camden at the age of 79. Born in Manheim, Germany Roswitha was a longtime resident of Willingboro. Prior to moving to Willingboro she lived in Burlington and was a graduate of Burlington High School. She worked for many years at Merk Medco in Willingboro until her retirement. She also worked as a crossing guard in Willingboro. Wife of the late George E. Hicks, III she was also predeceased by her niece Samantha. Roswitha is survived by her children; Brian (Jessica) Hicks and Christina Williams, her grandchildren; Rodney Williams, Orlando Gonzalez, Yamajeste Gonzalez, Jordon Gonzalez, Londie Gonzalez, Ezekiel Hicks, Adriel Hicks, Derek Hicks and Madison Hicks. She is also survived by her brother James (Linda) Doelle, and Brother in Law William (Regina) Hicks. A memorial service for Roswitha will be held 11am Friday January 2, 2026 at Calvary Bible Baptist Church, 594 Beverly-Rancocas Road, Willingboro, NJ 08046. Interment will be held privately.
