Ruth (Kitchenman) Stansky

Ruth Stansky (Nee: Kitchenman) passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023 at the age of 96. She is predeceased in death by her beloved husband Edward Stansky.

Dear sister of Marilyn Phillips (Walter) and the late Evelyn Szychoski, Vera Hilt and Ethel Broadbent.

Cherished aunt of 14 nieces and nephews. Dear great-aunt and great-great aunt.

Ruth grew up in Croydon, PA and in her marriage to Ed lived in Burlington, Chester, PA and Atlantic City.

Ruth and Ed were business owners working side-by-side at their bars in Chester and Atlantic City and then at McDono’s hamburger stand on Ocean City boardwalk.

After Ed’s passing, Ruth moved back to Burlington to closer to family. She then moved to Edgewater Park, and for the last 6 years lived in Assisted Living at Cambridge Enhanced Senior Living in Moorestown. Ruth loved her cats, loved to drive and would never go out without a hat. She enjoyed attending Sunday services at All Saints Episcopal Church in Philadelphia and was a member of the Episcopal Churchwomen. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her services. A viewing will be held at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 9-10am. A funeral service will begin at 10am with burial to follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rt. 130, Burlington. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either All Saints Episcopal Church, www.allsaintstorresdale.org or to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
