Sheila (Dunlap) Powell

Sheila Powell (nee: Dunlap) of Burlington City passed away at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills on June 8, 2023 at the age of 84. Sheila was a lifelong Burlington City resident who was a faithful servant of the Lord. She served as a Den Mother in the Cub Scouts for many years and served on many committees at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. She volunteered for church events and functions and served as an Usher for the church. She also was a member of Easton Bible Church. Sheila enjoyed boating and fishing and loved to cook and can food items. She was a dog lover and liked to travel to visit friends and family. She visited all of the states on the East Coast of the United States. Sheila was predeceased by her husband, Samuel F. Powell, and is survived by her son, Robert, and her granddaughter and great granddaughters. Sheila prepared her funeral services and would like her church community to come to her Life Celebration.

A graveside burial service will be held in Odd Fellows Cemetery on Friday at 10:00 am. Following her burial all are invited to her Life Celebration Funeral Service to be held at Easton Bible Church, 2407 Fostertown Road, Hainesport at 11:30 am.
