Stanley M. Chmielewski of Burlington City passed away Thursday January 5, 2023 at the Specialty Select Hospital at Virtua Willingboro at the age of 75. Born in Camden, Stanley was a longtime Burlington resident. He served his country honorably in the Army during the Vietnam War, where he was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries sustained during his service. He was an owner, along with his sister and brother of the Londonshire House in Burlington, where he served as the bar manager. He also spent many years as an election poll worker. Stanley was also very active in fund raising for his favorite charities which included the March of Dimes and the Variety Club. In his spare time he enjoyed playing basketball, something he did well into adulthood. He was a member of the Oneida Boat Club and VFW Post 1817, both in Burlington and also the Disabled American Veteran’s Association. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph S. and Mary (nee Cimoch) Chmielewski, his daughter Stephanie and his brother in law Robert Malinowski. Stanley is survived by his wife Karen (nee Farra), his son Damon, his daughter and son in lawMariesia and Matthew Dennion, his granddaughters Serene and Savannah Dennion, his sister Diane Malinowski and brother and sister in law George and Karen Chmielewski as well as many nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 6-8pm at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. A funeral service will begin at 8pm at the funeral home. Interment will be 11:30am Thursday in Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, 654 Ferry Road, Doylestown, PA 18901. The funeral procession will depart from the funeral home Thursday at 10am.
