Stephen A Coppola

Stephen A. Coppola of Edgewater Park, NJ passed away after a lengthy illness at the age of 65.

Son of the late Angelo F. and E. Joan Coppola, Steve resided in Barnegat, NJ for several years before returning to Edgewater Park in 2023.  He attended Burlington City High School where he graduated in 1976.

Steve was employed by FirstEnergy Service Company for 37 years where he held the position of Crew Chief Lineman and made numerous friends. He served as Union Steward for IBEW 1289 to represent and defend the interests of his fellow employees.

Spending endless summers on Long Beach Island, NJ was Steve’s favorite pastime.  He was a very giving and caring person to his family and friends.

Steve is survived by his sons, Stephen and John, of Edgewater Park.  He is also survived by his sister, Karen Carver of Edgewater Park, and brothers, Randy (Jeanmarie) of Newtown, PA, and Robert (Diane) of Lansdale, PA along with nieces and nephews (Kyle, Drew, Kristan, Johnathan, Amelia, and Madeline).   

A viewing will be held at Page Funeral Home, 302 East Union Street, Burlington, NJ  on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 from 10 am – 12 pm and a prayer service will commence at 12 pm.  Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Jacksonville Road, Burlington, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Steve’s name to Saint Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org/give/memorials-and-dedications.html) or a charity of your choice.
