Susan L. (Adams) Smith

Susan L. Smith (Adams) age 79 a lifelong resident of Burlington Township passed away March 30, 2022 surrounded by her family.  She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother & great-grandmother. Susan was born to the late Dorothy (Dot) and Morris (Peck) Adams of Burlington City.  She is survived by her siblings Thomas Adams (Nettie) of Rosemount, Minnesota, Kenneth Adams (Peggy-deceased) of Burlington, NJ, Nancy Adams of Willoughby, Ohio, and Michael (Peck) Adams of Burlington, NJ and the late Joan Adams of Burlington, NJ. Susan is also survived by her husband of 62 years, Eugene (Gene) Smith, her daughter Debbie Luciano (Allen), son Gene Smith (Mary), and daughter Stephanie Milliner (Jeff).  Susan is also survived by her nine grandchildren, Jennifer Pinto (Bob), Eugene Smith (Melissa), Jason Smith (Tracy), Frank Luciano, Jr. (Miranda), Brett Luciano, Eric Luciano (Megan), Shawn Luciano (Chris), Kaitlyn Milliner, Chase Milliner, and eleven great-grandchildren, Ryan, Laci, Carlie, Chloe, Jason, Jr., Noah, Frank Luciano, III, Silas, Eric, Jr., Leighann, Alivia and Hadley, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Susan was employed by the Burlington Township School District and worked in the cafeteria for many years and then Masonic Home of Burlington, NJ where she retired after more than 35 years. Susan loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, no matter what they were doing, vacations, holidays or just hanging out.  She also enjoyed going to her grandchildren’s sporting events over the years and you could always find her with her crossword or word search puzzles.  She mostly loved spending time with her dog “Scrappy”. In lieu of expressions of sympathy the family requests donations be made to the Burlington County Animal Shelter, 35 Academy Drive, Westampton, NJ 08060. Arrangements are being made by Page Funeral Home, Burlington, NJ. In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held.  There will be a celebration of her life to be held by the family at a later date.
