Thomas "Dave" David Kintzing

Thomas David “Dave” Kintzing, 71, passed away on July 2.

A longtime resident of Mount Holly, Dave attended Rancocas Valley Regional High School, where he excelled as a three-sport athlete, playing basketball, football, and baseball. His love of sports and staying active continued throughout his life as an avid cyclist and runner.

Dave had a deep appreciation for music, reading and art, and he was a gifted artist in his own right. Whether through painting or photography, he found joy in expressing his creativity and sharing his unique perspective with those around him.

He was also known for his unwavering devotion to a handful of favorite films. Much to his wife Cathy’s amusement—and occasional exasperation—it was not uncommon to hear, “Your dad has The Godfather on again!” His other favorites included the Bourne series and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, movies he never seemed to tire of watching.

Above all, Dave treasured his role as “Pop Pop” to his four beloved grandchildren: Harper, Emerson, Wyatt, and Finn. He delighted in creating memories with them, whether dressing up in themed Halloween costumes, playing games of Monopoly, hiding for endless rounds of hide-and-seek, or making special bagel and Slurpee runs. His patience, playful spirit, and unconditional love made him a cherished grandfather whose presence will be deeply missed.

Dave is survived by his wife, Cathy; his children, Ryan (Geoff) and Chelsea (Eric); and his four grandchildren, Harper, Emerson, Wyatt, and Finn. He also leaves behind many extended family members, friends, and neighbors who will remember his kindness, creativity, quiet strength, and sense of humor.

Dave’s legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the art he created, and the countless memories he leaves behind. He will be remembered with love, gratitude, and affection by all who knew him.
