Wayne D. Bieg of Burlington Twp., passed away Thursday November 9, 2023 at the Masonic Village of Burlington at the age of 87 with his daughters by his side. Born in Hillside, NJ Wayne was a resident of South Brunswick and Kendall Park before moving to Burlington Twp. He was an Army Veteran, serving honorably during the Korean War. Wayne was a service technician for NCR in New Brunswick for over 38 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Kendall Park, the American Legion in E. Brunswick, and the VFW and Moose lodge in Florida. Wayne was a big Yankees fan and an die hard fan of NASCAR, often taking trips to follow the races. In his spare time, Wayne enjoyed tinkering with electronics and he also enjoyed cooking and coming up with his own recipes. He will always be remembered for his need to always be on time for any function. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles H. and Florence (nee Fischer) Bieg and his brothers Kenn and Donald Bieg. Wayne is survived by his daughters Kimmerle (John) Martino and Darlene (Ken) Cummings, his grandchildren; Jason (Colleen) Martino, Kelsey Martino, Chris Cummings, Thomas (Clarissa) Cummings, Jessica (Ron) Hensler and Jennifer Cummings, his great grandchildren; Mason and Logan Martino, Jakob, Elijah, Silas, Julian and Isaiah Ailey, Jayden Cummings, Keaira Hensler and Darrell Cummings. He is also survived by niece and nephew Lori Palma and Kenn (Cheryl) Bieg, as well as great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Wayne will be held Saturday, November 18th at 12:00pm at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington.
