Wayne M. Lisehora of Bordentown passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA at the age of 82. Born in Trenton, Wayne was a longtime Bordentown area resident. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in criminal justice from Trenton State College. He served his country honorably as a member of the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. After his time in the service Wayne was employed as a corrections officer for the NJ State Department of Corrections, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant. He was a farmer at heart and after his retirement he enjoyed spending time on the farm and perfecting his grass cutting, a skill set he was quite proud of. He also had a deep appreciation for nature and spending time outdoors. Wayne was a staunch supporter of Doane Academy in Burlington and enjoyed spending time with his daughter and grandkids there. He was a member of the American Legion Post 26, Bordentown and the Pope and Young Club. Wayne was predeceased by his wife Kathleen Best Lisehora and son in law Mark Keays. He is survived by his daughter and son in law Kathleen and Richard Oliver and his grandchildren Brett (Vanessa) Keays, Andrew (Madison) Keays and Sophia Oliver. A visitation for Wayne will be held Friday, April 26th from 10-11am at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington with a memorial service beginning at the funeral home at 11am. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to the Doane Academy Onward and Upward Fund, 350 Riverbank, Burlington, NJ 08016, Attn: Development Office would be appreciated by his family.
