William S. Helsel

William S. Helsel of Burlington Township passed away Tuesday December 12, 2023 at Virtua Memorial Hospital, Mt. Holly at the age of 62. Born in Johnstown, PA William was raised and lived in Burlington Twp. and was a 1979 graduate of Burlington County Vo-Tech with a degree in diesel technology.  He served his country honorably as a Marine Corps Veteran. He was employed by the GSA in Burlington as a hazardous materials transporter for 20 years until his retirement. He was predeceased by his father Durwood Helsel. He is survived by his wife Sandra (nee Conover) Helsel, his children; Sarah (Dan) Corson, Megin (Noah) Barger, Heather (Rob) Helsel, Debra (Mathew) Grock, William Helsel, II, his grandchildren; Zachary, Katie, Wesley, Molly, Lucy, Zoey, Michael, Jackson, Addison, Mason, Chase and Matty, his mother Donna Helsel, brother Bryan (Debbie) Helsel and sister Susan Helsel. He is also survived by his nieces Tammy, Bella, Aliyah, Olivia and Autumn, his nephew Derek (Britnie). A visitation will be held Thursday December 21st from 1-3pm at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. A memorial service will begin at 3pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to the American Lung Association at www.lung.org would be appreciated by his family.
