William D. Mieszanek of Columbus, NJ formerly of Burlington City passed away after a long illness at the age of 81. Bill was a lifelong Burlington resident until his move to Columbus. He was a parishioner of the St. Katharine Drexel Parish and was an altar boy at All Saints RC Church until his graduation from Holy Cross High School. He retired from the 3M Company in Bristol and from the Mt. Holly Board of Education. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching sports and was an avid fan of the Phillies and Eagles. He was predeceased by his son David Mieszanek, his parents William Mieszanek, Sr., and Stella (Czepiel) Mieszanek. Bill is survived by his wife of 61 years Barbara (nee Santucci), his daughter Marie Nunn and his granddaughter Kaela Nunn. He also leaves behind his sister Paulette Slone of Slidell, Louisiana, brother-in-law Michael Santucci, sister-in-law Rosann and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Samaritan Hospice for the outstanding care given to Bill. Family and friends are invited to a visitation for Bill Monday from 9:30-10:30am at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am in All Saints RC Church, 502 High St., Burlington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to the St. Katharine Drexel Parish, 223 E.
