William A. "Bill" Pugh Obituary

William A. “Bill” Pugh of Burlington Township passed away Monday May 18, 2026 at his residence at the age of 84. Born in Riverside, Bill was a longtime resident of Burlington Township. He honorably served his country in the Army. After his military service, he worked as a civilian at McGuire Air Force Base as a Foreman of the carpenter shop until his retirement. He was an avid hunter who also enjoyed building things and tinkering; anything he could do to stay busy. He was a member of the VFW and was a very active member of the Beverly American Legion Post #115. He was predeceased by his parents George and Florence (nee DuBell) Pugh and his twin brother Robert Pugh. He is survived by his wife Deborah, son William Pugh, Jr. of Hainesport and son and daughter in law Daniel and Meghan Pugh of Burlington. A service for Bill will be held 10:30am Tuesday, May 26th at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, North Hanover.
