William Reeve, Jr. Obituary

William S. Reeve, Jr. of Cherry Hill passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026 at his residence. He was born and raised in Burlington and was a graduate of Burlington City High School. He served his country honorably in the Navy during the Korean War. After his military service, he began a career at Conwed Corporation in Delanco, retiring as a plant engineer with over thirty years of service. During his career he had over thirteen patents for his company. After retirement he moved to Harrington, Delaware and began a decorative lighthouse business with his wife, Edna. They ran this business for twenty-four years, producing over 3,000 lighthouses. He and Edna then moved back to New Jersey, settling in Cherry Hill. William was certainly a “jack of all trades.” He was a builder, craftsman, welder and mason, one who could certainly do anything. He often said that he could fix anything except a broken heart. However, his most lasting legacy was his love for his family and friends. He would be a friend to anyone and give them the shirt off his back. He will always be remembered as a wonderful father and friend. William was predeceased by his parents, William S. and Isabella (nee Polhamus) Reeve, Sr., his father-in-law and mother in law Russell and Dorothy E. Patane, his sister Constance A. Reeve, brother-in-law Joseph Patane, son and daughter-in-law Russell J. and Carmella Reeve as well as grandson Sean F. Reeve. William is survived by his beloved wife of 73 years, Edna M. Reeve, his son William R. Reeve, daughter in law Diane A. Reeve, son John F. Reeve, son in law Daniel K. Giorgi, grandchildren; Michele L. (Reeve) Remenicky, William Reeve and Meghan R. Reeve, great grandchildren; Isabella Remenicky, Kannan Reeve, Makensi Smith, Makayla Reeve, Sean Reeve and Meadow Reeve. A visitation for William will be held Saturday May 2nd from 1-2pm at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. A memorial service with military honors will begin at 2pm. Interment will be held privately.
