William T Slimm, Sr.

William T. Slimm, Sr. of Burlington Twp., passed away Sunday July 9, 2023 at the Masonic Village at Burlington at the age of 93. Born in Burlington City, Bill remained a lifelong resident before moving to Burlington Twp. in 2018. He was an army veteran, serving honorably in Germany during the Korean War. He worked for Public Service in the Gas Division for over 45 years until his retirement. In his spare time, Bill enjoyed fishing, woodworking, furniture building and traveling. He and his late wife Beverly frequently took bus trips to various destinations and made many friends along the way. As much as he enjoyed these activities, his greatest love was for his family. Bill was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Beverly (nee Thompson) and his brother Elmer C. Slimm, Jr. He is survived by his son and daughter in law Bill, Jr. and Beth, his granddaughters Lauren and Sara and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services and interment will be held privately at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, North Hanover. Memorial contributions made to the Endeavor Emergency Squad, 1309 Rancocas Rd., Burlington, NJ 08016 would be appreciated by his family.
