Willretta P. Horner

Willretta P. Horner age 86 of S. Carolina and formerly of Burlington, passed away Wednesday April 7, 2021 at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, S. Carolina.  Willretta was born August 10, 1934 and was a graduate of Burlington City High School, class of ’53.  In her spare time she enjoyed going to the Moose Lodge in Mt. Holly, NJ, dancing to country songs, and going bowling.  She especially enjoyed playing Bingo and would go to various bingo games three times a week.  A memorable experience for Willretta was going on her first cruise with her best friend from high school and having a great time.  Family meant everything to Willretta; she loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren very much.  Wife of the late Donald R. Horner, she is survived by her four children; Donna (Jim) Merlino of S. Carolina, Donald (Eileen) Horner, Jr., of Edgewater, NJ, Denise (Larry) Seltzer of Delanco, NJ and Dennis (Nicole) Horner of Florida.  She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren; Chelsea, Chasity, Larry, Jr., Roger, Jason, Donny, Danelle, Danny, Dayna, Zackery, Matthew and Danella and her 21 great grandchildren; Mason, Maci, Jayden, Leland, Cheyenne, Isabella, Gavin, Kayden, Liam, Treavor, Grayson, Shane, Ryker, Austin, Aiden, Jordyn, Jaxson, Jangel, Ethan, Peyton and Aston.  A visitation for Willretta will be held Saturday May 15th from 1-3pm at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington.  A memorial service will begin at the funeral home at 3pm.  Interment will be held privately.
