Yalie Swan Obituary

Yalie Swan Obituary

Yalile, born in Quevedo, Ecuador, completed her studies in Guayaquil. At a young age, she emigrated to the United States, where she built a life rooted in love for her family, her community, and service to others. Her generosity, warmth, and joyful spirit touched the lives of all who had the blessing of knowing her.

Cherishing and honoring her memory are her husband of 40 years, Thomas Swan; her daughter, Claudia; her son, TJ, and his wife, Alejandra; her beloved granddaughters, Liliana and Abigail; her mother, Zoila Segovia; and her brothers, Javier, Jaime, and Álvaro.

Yalile loved traveling, dancing, and spending time with the people she loved. She especially enjoyed visiting Ecuador, where she found great joy reconnecting with her family, her roots, and loved ones. She also enjoyed music, family gatherings, and preparing and sharing meals with those she cared about. Spending time with her granddaughters was one of her greatest joys, and her home was always filled with love, warmth, and laughter.

Her love, her joy, and the memories she leaves behind will live forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

“Those we love never truly leave us; they live forever in our hearts.”

The family asks those attending the celebration of life to wear bright colors.
